Company History

Suncoast Automotive Performance, Inc. began life as Suncoast Creations, Inc. in 1993 under Mr. Phil Grabo.  Phil's vision to provide custom performance hoods became a reality under his guidance from 1993 to 2000.

Richard "Dick" Chouinard purchased the company from Phil at a time when Phil's need for new challenges overcame his love for Ram Air Hoods.  Dick and the Suncoast Creations team brought the company into the 21st century before retirement loomed heavily over Dick's head.

On July 31, 2006 Suncoast Automotive Performance, Inc. bought the assets of Suncoast Creations, Inc. and took over operations.  Many of the faces from Suncoast Creations team remained in place while the ownership transitioned.  The new leadership has made a commitment to maintain product quality, improve customer service, increase technical support, and invigorate new product development.
